Oil leaking on 95 honda accord ex

A while back my engine oil light came on periodically and whenever I checked the oil, the level was fine. Recently my car has begun to leak oil but and it looks like it is coming from the area where the valve solenoid/pressure switch is. I was told that the leak is coming from there and I probably need my vtech valve solenoid/pressure switch replaced. Any comments about this?

I would check the oil plug screw seal first before i would do the valve solenoid/pressure switch. also, if the oil plug screw seal is fine and tightly screwed in, it may just be the switch seal itself.

Its the seal attached to the screw used to plug the oil pan. if this fails, you can experience a slow leak.

My Honda Accord Ex 1996 Model automatic transmission is experiencing shortage of engine oil 4 weeks after servicing or changing the oil

How low was it?

Have you seen any leaks on the ground?

Here is what I would do. Fill up the oil so it reads full on the dipstick. Drive it for a couple of days and then check the oil level. If its down a half a quart or more than you have a serious issue and more than likely an external leak. If it is leaking that ba than it should be fairly obvious where the leak is coming from and a visual inspection under the hood and under the car should reveal the source of the leak.

My check engine light is on in my 95 honda accord ex and the obd1 gives a oil pressure code what should I do?

The first thing you should do is have your oil pressure checked with a gauge. You want to be sure that your pressure is not actually low. The chances are good that you just have a sensor or wiring problem, but you want to make sure that the pressure is not a problem. Any good repair shop can check it. Or you can buy a gauge at an auto parts store and check it yourself.

My Honda Accord 1996 Vtec Engine Oil Short after i travelled long distance

If you are saying your oil level is low, then you need to add oil to your engine. If you are concerned that the oil level was low after your long drive, it would depend on how long it has been since you added oil or even checked your oil level.Engines will consume oil over a long period of time. Especially if the oil is not changed according to manufacturers recommendations. Unless the low oil level was sudden I would not be concerned. If it happened suddenly and in a short period of time, look for an oil leak of indication of the engine burning the oil, such as smoke at the exhaust pipe.

The oil lights stays on in my 1994 honda accord ex

This is a matter that you should pay immediate attention to.
The oil light can indicate low oil level in your engine, or low oil pressure. Both can be fatal to your engine.

Check your oil level first.
Look for evidence of leaking oil (possinility a loose oil filter)
The oil pressure sending unit or connections could also be causing the problem

I JUST HAD THE OIL CHANGED ON MY 07 HONDA ACCORD AND THE OIL LIGHT CAME ON

Did you check the oil level? They may have forgot to put in your new oil. If so, don't start the CAR and call the place that changed your oil IMMEDIATELY. They are responsible.

95 honda civic ex squeals when starting engine

Some of the grime, etc on the engine prior to steam cleaning along with any solvents used may have affected the drive/fan belt. I would suggest you either check tightness of the belt and possibly consider replacing it.
