Hi you will have to remove the wheel,grease cap from the hub remove the brake caliper and move aside (do not seporate rubber line). (discard caliper bolts can not be reused) remove rotor,wheel hub retainer nut (and discard nut can not be reused) in order to remove the hub

install

hub and new nut and tighten new nut to 189-254 ft.lbs
rotor new grease cap seal
brake caliper with 2 new bolts tighten to125-170 ft.lbs
wheel tighten to85-104 ft.lbs
pump the brake pedal befor moving car

This is not the correct answer for the Lincoln LS. There are only 4 little bolts holding the Hub Assy in place.

  2. Remove or disconnect the following:



    • Front wheel


    • Brake caliper and rotor


    • Locking hub or hub drive flange, if equipped,(it is)


    • Hub grease cap, if equipped


    • Wheel speed sensor, if equipped (ABS)


    • Wheel bearing lockwasher


    • Wheel bearing locknut (ring) and inner washer


    • Wheel hub and bearing assembly (slide hammer?)


    • Wheel hub oil seal


    • Wheel bearing oil seal


    • Snapring




  3. Press the wheel bearing and race out of the hub.


reverse is same but the lock ring must be set

to 123-180PSI. stop tightening above 123 at first alignment hole in lock ring..

You remove the speed sensor & 4 bolts, from back of
wheel brgs hub assy & remove & replace the entire hub

Guess you haven't worked on your brakes or looked
over anything !!

My 2002 Lincoln LS v6 Lost Engine Power,Traction Control Light was flashing & ABS light Came on! ANY IDEA?
Had the same problem with my 2002 Lincoln LS, it was a bad wheel speed sensor. The right front wheel bearing had some play in it, so I had the hub assembly replaced. The hub assembly comes with a new wheel speed sensor attached. After I replaced the hub assmbly with sensor, the ABS and Traction Control lights went off. No problem since!

How to change front brake rotor on 2000 ford taurus wagon cause front wheel shake when brake apply
Remove both caliper mounting bolts should be 12 or 13 mm bolts. Next remove both caliper mounting bracket bolts 15mm. Rotor should then pull off. If not use large hammer and hit the face off the rotor hub between the wheel studs until it comes loose. Make sure the face of the wheel hub is free of rust between the wheel studs and use high temp anti seize around the center circle of the wheel studs.
