Engine sqeals when front defogger is turned on.

this car is listed as a 2000 Dodge Intrepid, not sure the engine size but the code p1319 .

i do not see this code for the 2000 dodge intrepid, is this the correct year,make model?

The Flasher is located front seating area, driver side, under left hand side of instrument panel between junction block and brake pedal.

If it is a 3.5 it is located on the front of the engine on the drivers side under the plenum.

As you are looking at the engine, it'as on the right front of the valve cover, very easy to change.

It should be the in the front of the engine close to the bumper, but all the way to the right when you face the engine, on the driver's side.

I am assuming your talking about your ac. if so you can run a self diagnostic check, if you have manual temp control the led on the rear defogger can blink codes. turn car on, turn blower knob on(anyspeed), temp full cool, zone to defrost. press defogger button for 5 secs until it blinks. if it goes out 1st test is ok, rotate zone control and each section will be tested, the light will blink for each zone and then go out if it is ok, if it stays on this may be where your problem is.
