1998 lexus gs300 multigrade oil to FULLY SYNTHETIC oil

I guess the car was recommended with half and half oil. durablend multigrade etc.

my question is :

the car has 141k. and i want to change it over with fully synthetic. is that good or bad?? or should i stick with what was recommended?

a buddy of mine who works at kragen said my engine is too high mile. but that foo never had a newer car in his life hahahha

my previous car was newer so it was automatically fully synthetic. so i had no problems but now i am CONFUSED

You can Safely Convert over to Full Synthetic and it will be Just Fine. It will actually be Better for the Higher Mileage Motor. Just make for sure that you Drain all of the Old oil out as Possible Before you refill with the Synthetic. A Little Mix will not Hurt the Motor at all. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!

I have a 2007 Lexus GS350 - do I need synthetic oil?

you will get conficting views on this but Toyota worldwide use fully synthetic from new out of the factory.BUT in Europe use semi synthetic for 20k service intervals...personally I would use fully synthetic untill 75k then semi after.and change the oil/filter every 10k.my own car has over 300k and uses a pint every 10k,which is acceptable.

Can I use synthetic oil in my 1994 lexus ES300? If so what kind would you recommend?

Any engine can use synthetic oil. I would reccomend using a popular brand like castrol syntec that you can find anywhere. Also you need to make sure that you never go back to using regular oil. It's synthetic or nothing!

What synthetic oil is the best one to get for my 1999 lexus gs 300

AMSOIL or Mobil 1 synthetic oils. Either one. AMSOIL claims to be the best but...in order to meet the standards "all" manufacturers of synthetic oils have to have the minimum oil content mixture to achieve the quality standards.

SJ or SL or ILSAC 5W-30 is the manufacturers recommended engine oil.

What weight oil do I use

Usually the recommended oil is marked on the filler cap, also look in the owners manual. Most modern cars use 5W-30.
