My heater core and windshield wiper switch need to be replaced. If I'm already taking out the dash for the heater core would it be easy enough to do the wiper switch at the same time?

Passenger side bottom of heater box remove bolt. Engine side on fire wall behind distributor remove nut. Now, on top of evaporator box remove small plate with wires on it. Look inside, remove that bolt. The heater box will come out. There are only 2 bolts and 1 nut to hold box in place.

No it's on the passenger side in a plastic container that has to have the screws removed to get to it, there is one other place the put it depending on AC setup and that’s in the center of the consol the easiest way to find it is follow the heater line hoses from the water pump to the firewall and that is where the heater core is at but as I said normally they are incased in plastic on the passenger side inside the engine compartment.

Sorry, your going to have to remove the dash.
Good luck and make sure you have lots of time and use the camera on your cell phone and take pictures to use as reference.
SOURCE: How do you remove the windshield wiper arms
The wiper arms have a push in tab at the very bottom at the fitting that is pressed into the wiper linkage below the screen. Use a flat headed screwdriver to pry out the tab. Once out the arm can be pulled right off. Now you can remove the cowling screen
