SOURCE: My Porsche won't start. I've changed all 12 spark

Pull one plug out of one cylinder, and place the top of the spark plug on the body of the car(grounded). Start(or have someone turn the car over) and hold the plug to a grounded spot. If the plug sparks it is not an electrical problem. Also, if the plugs are coming out wet, your flooding the engine making start even harder. Also make sure the plugs are gapped to manufacturer's spec.

Why does 1988, 911 engine miss fire? what could be the cause of the problem? when I change the spark plug no 2 and 6 there are traces of oil but after replacing the spark plugs it runs smoothly again

It sounds like your spark plugs were fouled. Does it keep happening? If so, you may have low compression and oil is blowing through. If it only happened that one time then I wouldn't worry about it. It happens after a while.

How would you gain access to change the spark plug on cylinder 6 of a 993 turbo?

hello there
To get to number 6 spark plug...you have to lift the car in the air. Then remove right rear wheel.
Remove from the inside if the engine compartment right side sheet metal where the sperk plug wires go trough. The are also 3 bolts next to the powersteering pump drive (on this sheet metal)-remove them as well.
Once you remove this sheet metal you will gain access to the spark plug....
let me know if you need more help

Spark plug change on a 2002 carrera 911

jack up rear of vehicle install jack stands, get under car posche's have a boxer engine (opposed cylinders) they face eachother, so the spark plugs go three on one side three on the other unplug and remove all six ignition coils, remove spark plugs I usually have to use multiple extensions on my plug socket and put them together while sticking them in the holes because its a tight fit.

My engine oil light came on after 2 days of oil change at a dealer and they are an hour away! what would cause that? (porsche 2000 boxter s with 18000 miles)

could be low on oil due to loose drain plug. put a clean 3 foot by 3 foot piece of cardboard under the engine for a few hours, check for drips. good luck!
