It doesn't appear to be the car alarm. The horn just blares continuously until I either start the car or disconnect the battery cable. I'm sure removing the fuse will also help. I must add this problem began after the drivers side window was left down overnight by mistake by an individual who borrowed the car from me. The front drivers side of the car got wet from rain and snow. This I discovered in the morning when I overheard the horn blaring. I then started to clean and dry out the car the best I could. Everything else in the vehicle appears to be fine.
I had this same problem with a car I was driving out in 'Frisco.
What a pain!
The problem was a short in the horn button on the steering wheel.
The dealer demanded replacing the horn button, which was PART OF THE AIR BAG ASSEMBLY, AND THAT COST 1.,000 DOLLARS!
After intense arguing, warranty covered it.
If I was faced with this, I get me a blow dryer for your hair and position it to blow inside the back of the steering wheel on LOW heat, so as not to melt the plastic, for about 6 hours.
Anything you can do to dry out the inside of the steering wheel should help.
Be blessed.

Go to http://www.hmaservice.com/ and register (vehicle by VIN). Afterward, you'll have access to technical information (manuals, wiring diagrams, service bulletins, etc) about your vehicle.

Go to the dealer and have them check the hood pin switch pad, there is a updated part that is longer to make better contact with the hood pin switch. Also, check the trunk lid stricker to make sure it is not bent, that has got me a couple of times.

If the alarm keeps going off constantly and the remote has no influence on the alarm its most likely a connection problem. A hyundai dealer might be able to fix it but since you can start the car something you might be able to try is....
Check and make sure the remote battery is in the right way. Make sure all of the doors are closed, the trunk is closed, open the hood, connect the battery, close the hood all the way and try to lock and unlock the doors. Hope this works but if not, sorry it didn't work.

try replacing the plug wires,it sounds like they are bad,
If it is the horn that keeps going off, pull the horn fuse, that should stop it till you figure the problem. The bcm can ground the control side of horn relay as well as the horn switch. I'm not saying the bcm is faulty, I don't know, at the moment.
