There is a code to get from the radio, then a Technicians will call GM to get the actual unlock code. Only takes a few minutes.

Well thats a tough one, since GM is super-secretive about the "TheftLoc" System. My Recommendation is to take the Car to your Local Olds/Buick/Pontiac Dealership, and they have the Proper Procedure to Unlock your Stereo for You. This System requires 2 separate Code entries; Yours & Theirs (Imagine that, lol)
Last time that I had to do it, didn't Cost me anything when I already had My Code, the Next time where I didn't have the Code it Cost me $25...Hope this Helps Ya resolve your Issue. Good Luck

your car is setup with an anti-thief system. You need the radio code that is inside your radio. Check your owner manual for the 4 digit number. If not in there then you need to take it into the dealer to unlock it.
