Battery Light Stays on on my peugeot 106

Peugeot 106 s reg 1998
battery light is staying on , i have no brake lights , no indicaters, no horn!!
the car starts fine and everything else seems fine

    runninng lights and horn dont go off when car is off unless i dis connect battery

    my peugeot turns over fine but the engine management light stays on which is preventing the car from starting

Check the fuses by the battery ,the big ones,then the other fuses ,if this fails then don mini and heels and drive to garage

The problem with your wipers and brake lights sounds like blown fuses, the battery light indicates low or no charge and will need to be tested for output and that should be 14 volts, if the alternator output voltage is correct there may be a diode s in the alternator that needs to be replaced or replace with a rebuilt alternator.

Power steering went out and a brake light and battery light indicater stays on when running. its full of fluid no leaks, the new belt is tight, happened suddenly.
Power steering pump must have went bad, not pumping fluid to the rest of the steering system.
