2002 SL1. How can I replace fuse panel?

Cooling fan and air conditioning only work at times. The dealer told me the fuse panel under the hood is defective. The part is not made any more, and I will have to get one from a bone yard. I have looked at the old one, and it looks difficult to remove with the wiring harness. How do I replace it?

SOURCE: rear panel removal on a 2002 Saturn L200

The speaker should be removed from the trunk. You shouldn't have to remove it from the back seat. There is probably just a couple of clips or screws that hold them in

Where is the engine cooling fan switch on a 2002 cavliar

If your engine cooling fan motor is not working first check the maxi fuse
under the hood in the fuse box. If the fuse is burnt out then more that likely the cooling fan motor is drawing to much and will also need to be replaced.

New coolant fan and new control module but coolant fan does not work on my 2002 ford escort zx2

Try checking the fuse box under the hood. It should have a fuse marked cooling fan or cooling system. If the car does start, that means the computer isn't out, but maybe there is a bad relay by the fan or in the circuit or even the temp sensor may be bad. The fan won't run until the temp is high enough; usually by the time the thermostat opens.

Cooling fan not coming on

check fuses in fuse box under hood, either with a multi meter or take them out and look if the metal strip is blown. then replace with another fuse of the same amp. Or there might be a bad sensor like the intake air temp sensor (iat) or engine coolant temp sensor (ect). They might not set off the check engine light on a 91'. If your fan is on a pulley, check the pulley to see if its still on.

Cooling fan does not shut off. removed wire from battery

It sounds like the cooling fan relay is stuck closed. It'll be found under the hood in an electrical fuse panel. Find it and swap with a similar one next to it (use the Air conditioning clutch relay or the abs relay, not the main or starter relay) restart the vehicle and recheck. If fan works normal reinstall swapped relays and get new fan relay.

Check your fan. You have air flow problems. If you don't have a fan clutch look at the electrical fan problems.
