3.0 V6 engine difference between early 1992 and late 1992 ???????

For that you don't need a VIN number. You register it as a home fabricated trailer and put your own number on it with metal stamps 'GG/2022001'. It has to be on the A-Frame where the hitch will be. If you are good with welding, you can draw it in weld, but they might want it stamped as weld can be ground off.

Here is the information, but the information isn't needed. VIN is on door frame on sticker, viewable through the windshield and under the carpet just bt the driver door, BUT none of that applies because your part has NO VIN number, it is a new fabrication.

I don't think your engine is a 22R-E as the E denotes electronic fuel ejection. For 1980 it should be just a 22R. I would not suggest slapping on another carb without expecting more work than just hooking up the original vacuum lines. Some lines you could cap off but others would need the vacuum and rerouting. There are also plenty of pictures and diagrams for your engine. Making a trip to your local junkyard might find you a 22R with a carb still attached but it's slim these days. I know this question is from January but if it's too late to help you than maybe it can help some one else.

Any engine can be replaced. Most of all you need to look at engine mountings and space, electrical harness + computer and then Gearbox and differential specs. 4 cylinder gearbox will not be very good with a 6 cylinder engine. you will have high refs but no speed. if you have older v6, you might get away with electronics as a lot of them a straight forward. need a bit of work but doable.

is this a ford V6 essex engine built in dagenham in the late 60s early 70s ? and if so what version zodiac or granada /capri as different camshafts were used with different settings.What condition are the rocker studs in and have they pulled upwards in any way?

The transmission will have a tag on the top, for example BCH.The first digit is production run for example A is first design , B is secound design ,C is third.The next two digits are calibration codes meaning the shift valve size and spring wieght, these things are matched to vehicle weight, engine size and final drive ratio.Yes there were a bunch of different codes.You can use any transmission with the last two digits the same and have no worries.You can get by using a transmission with the same 2nd digit and 1 digit off the third, example if you have a BCH you could use a BCG and your calibration would be very close.Too far away and you will have late dor early shifts you can not adjust out.I hope i did not confuse you.Good luck!

from the front of the engine looking backwards towards the gearbox the left side is 135 the right side is 246..firing order 135624.

junkyards have an interchange data base. that is where to go for this type info. no doubt many many early 90s chrysler products have the same engine block.
