Automatic locks do not work - Saturn sl2 1994

I have a 1994 Saturn SL2 with automatic locks. My locks stopped working. i have to manually unlock and lock every door. I am looking for any assistance in figuring out what I need to look at, replace, etc. to get the locks working again.

    we replaced the fuse and it stopped working after 2 uses what would cause this?

Check your fuses, quite a big one considering it supplies all your locks

It's an automatic, it is supposed to upshift and downshift by itself. That why you paid extra for it, so you didn't have to do all that extra thinking and work of moving the shifter.

My automatic seat belts are stuck around the halfway mark, how would I get them into the driving position? the Car is a 1991 saturn SL2 Sedan.
Probably best to replace, when the mechanism gets unreliable do not risk fixing try a wreckers yard, make sure the replacements pull out cleanly but lock when "jerked" hard.

Then if the relay and fuses are good. The turn signal switch should be replaced.

Your controls may be going bad, also check the fuse for your door locks to see if it's still good. I really think your controls may be going bad because the first sign is work and then don't work....but check fuses first.
