SOURCE: immobiliser

hi check the fuses in the vechicle and if there ok you would have to see if there is a positive feed at the immobiliser as they are delicate circiuts you may have burned them out best of luck yates210456

SOURCE: my car wont start, 1997 vauxhall astra 1.7 turbo diesel

This sounds like a problem in the fuel shut off circuit. When you turn the key on, it energizes the fuel shut off solenoid on the injection pump. When you turn off the key, power is removed and the pump is moved by spring to the fuel off position. Check for power at this terminal when you are having a problem, ( with the key on) If no power then I would check the wiring and connectors from this connection to the Ignition key. I believe it is wired direct. That can be checked at http://www.alldata.com/products/index.jsp

subscribe3 and get a wiring schematic for the car and see if it is wired direct to the ign switch of from a relay, I am sure it is a connection problem if you have no power.

A 1.7 diesel even if turboed, is dead slow in any vehicle let alone a van. Enjoy the fuel economy

good luck

SOURCE: Immobiliser ?????? so i have been told

If, when you switch the ignition on, you get a dash light on, the symbol is a car with a key overlaid, you have somehow activated the immobilser You could try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, this may reset the immobiliser, If this does not work you will have to contact a Hyundai dealer to get the immobiliser unlock code.

SOURCE: peugeot 406 hdi electronic immobiliser warning

did you try the spare key? are you sure it is an immobilizer light? what does the warning light look like, can you describe it? replacing the battery in the key will not help as it is not needed for the recognition of the key(this is done by an induced current).

How do i unmute a vauxhall insignia bluetooth

Based on the owner's manual you should have a speaker that shows a line through it if it's muted and you just press that button again to un-mute it.

Brake lights will not come

this could be several issues. may want to consult a chilton or haynes manual but you will have to start with simple stuff like fuses and bulbs. from there you could be looking at a brake switch that activates the brake lights. do the hazard lights work? if so, the bulbs and wires are probably the same as the brake lights and if this is the case, it is related to something like a brake switch or maybe something else. a manual will be your best bet if you can't find something fast or easy.

Remove fuse relay

that sound reasonable, thats what I would do in your shoes. Relays plug into a box much like fuses or fusible links. usually located under the hood, follow the posative cable from battery should lead you right to it.

Vauxhall calibra will not start ignition light

Go to GM Vauxhall website and it will indicate where to archive User Handbooks, or invest in a Haynes Manual, which as a new owner of a late model, I would suggest, be a better and safer bet. You then have 99% of Repair and Fault Finding information. Cheaper than a Garage if you have DIY expertise.
In the UK, about 25 GBP.
