Check the bulb, you can swap left to right. If the right side works on both main beam and low beam, then the switch is fine. If left main beam works, then the earthing wires to it are fine. That only leaves the bulb its socket or the positive wire.
Check high beam fuse, refers to owner manual for fuse map. If fuse ok, remove high beam bulb, don't break anything, look the filament for breakage, yes you can see it, replace bulb.
The headlight switch gets power for the headlights from a 50amp fuse. The fuse powers the headlight switch then the dimmer switch breaks for high and low beams. So if the high beams work, the problem may be with the dimmer switch. The dimmer switch is made into the turn signal switch on the column. You would need to check the low and high beam circuits at the switch for power.
With halogen capsule:
9006 for low beam ,9006SU for Silver Star Ultra,9006CB for cool blue
9005 for High beam, 9005SU for Silver Star Ultra, 9005CB for cool blue
With sealed beam:
H4666 for high/low beam, H4666ST for silver star, H4666XV for extra vision, H4666CB for cool blue
That is great that you checked the fuses; that is one thing people usually think of last. The low beam bulb could be different from the high beam bulb and may need replacing. Go to an Advance Auto store or some such place and have them help you purchase the bulb you need.
I would take a look at your headlight dimmer switch. The dimmer switch works independent of the DRL system. Below is the wiring diagram for you vehicle. Good luck and let me know. Regards,
