2006 Chevy Express Horn Problem

The horn in my van will start blowing at different times of day for no particular reason. The van will be sitting without being disturbed, and the horn will just start blowing in one continuous, unwavering honk until I start up the van. The only thing I have done is to remove the fuse so my neighbors don't get upset and it doesn't drain the battery. I imagine there's a short somewhere, but don't know where to begin.

What is wrong with my 2000 Chrysler T&C van. The horn will blow at random times and continue for about 30 seconds. After the van sits for a while it usually will not do this anymore, but once the van...

My info says the horn switch is molded into the airbag module. You can't service the horn switch separately. You would have to replace the air bag module, if the horn switch is the problem? Air-bags can be dangerous, safety is your responsibility.
The wire going to horn switch is a ground for horn relay, it might be possible to use external horn button to sound the horn. That probably isn't very professional. Be careful with air bag.

I have a 2006 Jeep Commander and the horn blows for no reason. It is as if the alarm is going off.

I just had the same problem the horn would blow for 30 seconds every 3 minutes. The dealership just told me I need a new horn pad and that it was not covered under the "bumper to bumper" warranty. He also said it would be $460 and be at least 4 days.

Horn not working 2ooo express van

Find horn on the front near the grille or inner fender, unplug wire and run a jumper to it from the hot post on the battery. If it blows the horn is fine, but you have horn button problems. If it doesn't blow, you need a new horn.
