If the engine is reaching normal temp, you would need to test the sensor on the intake and the gauge on the dash.
The sensor provides ground to the gauge.

SOURCE: how to replace brake light in 2008 chevy express cargo van

You have to remove the upper applique to remove the tail lamp, it is the trim panel above the lamp. I think it is held in place by two nuts/bolts but not sure. You have to have the rear doors open to remove it

SOURCE: 2001 chevy express van 1500,

Inside the van, all the way to the rear, on the side, will have a nice looking panel over it, remove panel and you'll see blower motor, held on with about 6 small screw's.

2001 Ford E150 cargo van temperature gauge not working

If the temperature gauge in your 2001 Ford E150 cargo van is not working, there are a few potential causes:
  1. Faulty temperature sensor: The temperature gauge in your van is controlled by a temperature sensor, which sends a signal to the gauge to display the engine's temperature. If the sensor is faulty or has failed, the gauge may not display the correct temperature or may not work at all.
  2. Wiring issues: If the wiring that connects the temperature sensor to the gauge is damaged or broken, the gauge may not display the engine's temperature correctly. Check the wiring for any damage or loose connections.
  3. Blown fuse: The temperature gauge is powered by a fuse, which can blow and cause the gauge to stop working. Check the fuse box for any blown fuses and replace them if necessary.
  4. Instrument cluster issues: If the temperature gauge is not the only gauge that is not working, the problem may be with the instrument cluster itself. In this case, the instrument cluster may need to be repaired or replaced.
  5. Faulty gauge: It's also possible that the temperature gauge itself is faulty and needs to be replaced.

Hi! I have a 2005 Chevy Express Van 2500. I removed the seat belts and retractors from the van, unknowingly that by doing this, the belts would no longer pull out and now are stuck. Any suggestions?

Don't know what the problem is ..as you give no information.
If it is stuck you may have to remove the plastic paneling and work the belt loose from the re-tractor spool. Give it a shot of dw40...just don't get it on the belt . It will weaken the fabric
