You could try spining the engine with a 1/2 inch breaker bar and the socket for the crank bolt and see if the engine turns. If engine turns u cud check your ground wire and hot wire going to the starter.

There's no relay. Either the solenoid is bad or you need to have your starter rebuilt or replaced. For help with repairs and finding parts check out saabnet dot com You can remove the starter and have it tested for free at some auto parts stores. Look up auto electric in your yellow pages for alternator and starter rebuilding, and save up to 50% vs a rebuilt starter from the parts store.

If the clicking sound is coming from the engine bay, from the relay, you may want to have the starter itself checked out. You need to check if the ground cable from the engine to the chassis is secured. If that is OK, you may want to have the starter motor checked.
