I'm not aware of a fuel pressure sensor, you have a fuel pump relay and inertia switch that powers the pump, and a fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail. If there is a fuel pressure sensor, I would think it would be on the fuel rail with the injectors. Have you replaced the fuel filter and checked the fuel pressure with a gauge ?
I think it might be a fuel delivery problem.I would check the fuel pressure and make sure its within the specs for that engine. Its sounds like it could be a weak fuel pump. When ever the engine does'nt get enough fuel to mix with the air then it causes a lean condition which will make it misfire. If it was an ignition problem it would misfire whether it was cold or hot.
Injectors need cleaning, As being left for time its got dirty, Run a fuel system cleaner through the fuel, Or get an professional to clean injectors for you with a high pressure unit.
possible just not probable. you need to see if there is any pressure to fuel rail. if not youre going to have to by pass the fuel pump and see if it is getting voltage. if so then apply a seperate voltage and ground wire to the pump to see if it kicks on. come to think of it, it could be the PATS system(security) that shuts down the system. it will crank but will not fire. your ford dealer will need to reprogram the system.
Im not quitre sure but did you bleed the system...on the fuel rail on the intake there is a zert fitting like a tire valve try bleeding the system could be trapped air
Theft detection activated. that is the trouble code. Somebody tried to steal your car. Or the code was activated. Call dealer and try to get security code unlock information.VIN may be needed.
