It is impossible. Your car has an antitheft system on it. Without the chip key or transponder key, your car will go into antitheft mode and disable the starter or injectors. Or both.
In most GM cars and trucks there is a hidden system that most people are unaware even exists. From the moment you put your key in the ignition, there begins a constant line of communication between your key's security chip or transponder, to the ignition's lock cylinder, and then to the car's TDM (Theft Deterrent Module). These 3 parts are in CONSTANT communication. If the key is in the ignition, then these parts are sending signals to each other. The security light illuminates when that signal gets broken, even just for a second. When the signal breaks, the car misinterperates this as an attempt at theft and goes into antitheft mode. The car thinks its being stolen or hotwired because it is not getting that signal from YOUR specific key. This is why the security light turns on and shuts down your vehicle.
This link may help you find ways to bypass this or fix it yourself.

1970 truck. How do I start it without a key?

It should be easy to hot-wire the switch. There is a hot power-in wire, a run wire at the "on" position, and a start wire at the start position. That is all you need. First locate the power wire, twist it with the run wire. Now the ignition should be on, the dash warning lights and gauges on. Now if you take the start wire and touch it to those two twisted together, the engine should crank over and start.

This is a quick way to get it started, but you have to cut the wires. If you pull off the ignition switch connector, you might be able to use short jumper wires from the hot wire to the run position, and one to the start wire. Then if you get a new key and lock cylinder later, all you have to do is to plug back in the switch connector.

Do the gauges and warning lights work with key on? If not, check fusible links, AM1 for ignition key power. If the gauges/warning lights work, the key switch has power, so you can follow it to the starter solenoid. The start wire out of the ignition switch is a black/white wire, this is the hot wire to the solenoid, and only has power when key is held in start. With automatics, there is only one switch-a neutral start switch- between the ignition switch and the solenoid on the starter .

With a manual transmission, the black-white start wire goes to both a starter relay and a clutch start switch (on the clutch pedal), those two work together to send the power on to the starter solenoid. So, no crank, good battery, power to key, follow the black/white wire, the start relay and the clutch switch, to the starter solenoid- a hot wire there turns the starter motor on.

Bypassing ignition

You take the hot wire to the ignition switch and twist it together with the run wire out of the switch-then ignition is on, just as if the key were turned to on. Then take the start wire that goes out of the switch and touch it to the hot wire to make the starter work. Soon as engine is started, remove the start wire from hot wire and tuck it out of the way. When you want it off, untwist the hot wire and the run wire.
If you cannot hot wire it like this, check if there is a security system that has immobilized the car. I don't know if a '92 had a security system.

My key broke off in ignition, i just want to get the car home, i can turn it to the on position but cannot get it to turn over... how can i hot wire it so to say?

If your looking to hotwire the car, and I only know this because when I was a kid this happened to me. There are three wires to the ignition. one for the starter one hot and one for acc. the two wires twist together the starter wire you must touch it to the two twisted together and once it starts pull the wire away from the hot wires, if you don't your starter will keep engaging. I would recommend, getting a locksmith, would cost 100.00 bucks and it wont mess up your steering collum
