It's in front of the right (passenger) side front wheel, there is a removable access panel for getting it out with the wheel turned hard to the right or removed, if looking under the hood, look down low on the right side and you will see it.....

I have a 99 dodge intrepid and it runs rough and stalls out. how do you find out the codes for what is wrong with it?
On my 98' Intrepid I turn the key to "ON position" Three times.( on-off-on-off-on-off-on). Don't start it. It will show the trouble codes in the odometer space. To reset the codes just undo the Neg. battery cable for 30 mins..

If I remember correctly that code means you have disconnected the battery in the last 50 starts so if the battery has been disconnected it will throw that code for a while and then clear its self

I have a 99 Intrepid and it wont start. There is no power to the dash(nothing). Battery is 1 year, Starter new. With boost cables, dash lights up, but car only clicks.
battery is dead again let it charge longer then try it.
clean your cables and then have the alt and battery checked if they are both good then something is staying on like mine my brake lights stayed on once and killed the battery
