The Rear wiper stopped working on my 96 jeep cherokee sport

you have a worn gear inside your wiper motor and it needs replacing

your rear wiper motor might be faulty,in the front i would check your fluid level-if it is full and you hear the pump running-check your washer lines to see if they are pinched-usually around where the hood closes

its a electronic board in back of wiper motor/ comes with new motor. just replace motor.

could be the arms striped ore the motor shot on it

If there is a hum when you press the washer button but no fluid than try cleaning the holes where the fluid comes out if that don't work than try replacing the supply hoses. If there is no hum than first check the fuses and if they arn't blown than you more than likly have a faulty motor. Both? unlikely but not impossible. Good luck.

If I remember correctly, pump is in the same bottle as front unit. Makes sense, otherwise you'd have two bottles!

check the outside first pull the fluid line where the fluid should be coming out have someone stand there if it comes out there the nozzle is plugged work a pin or needle inside of it to loosen it up if thats the case

You have a motor for the front and rear washer. Check the fuses. If the intermitted wipers does not work, there is a relay under the dash near the steering colum that needs to be replaced.

the little pump inside the washer fluid reservoir is bad, replace it

Your rear bottle for the wipers should be at the back of the vehicle.Look in back for removable panel and bottle should be there.Turn your ignition on(no start)and activate rear washer Listen for the sound of the motor
