2000 Dodge Stratus....It sounds like the front drivers side tire is flat (I already put air in it and that didn't solve the problem). Now, the steering wheel is shaking back and forth and it feels as if the tire is shaking too. Especially bad at higher speeds and constant thumping sound coming from the tire. How much to get this fixed, and what's the problem?

The access port to the battery should be located in the driver side front wheel well towards the front, and you might also have to remove the front driver side tire to remove the battery.
take the tire off and the brake rotor see if u have room to hit the studs out with a punch and then to reintsall them put the studs in the hole tighten witha lug nut and washer
If im not mistake its located in the pass front finder there are two ways to get to it remove the air filter and box and its located there or from the wheel well
The battery is located near the driver's side front tire, directly under the jumper points in the engine. You will have to put the car on jacks, and remove the tire and wheel well cover to get to it.
you have a bad front wheel bearing..jack up front of vehicle..put in neutral..block rear wheels..put 1 hand on front coil spring and rotate wheel..you will feel roughness in spring on side that wheel bearing is bad
i have a 2000 doge straus and i put two sensors in and it still wont shift any ideas out ther it was fine when parked a year ago so i know the tranaxle is good
It is best if you jack it up and remove the driver side front tire and then reove the mud shield. diconnect the wires connected to the battery poles..the negative and positive...slide out the battery and slide in the new one. Reconnect the wire clamps to the poles, screw on the mud shield and put on the tire.
Can see left side tires slightly shaking
