HI where can I get a diagram to fit a fan belt to a mercedes vito 112 cd1
High i have a 2002 merc vito. there is exaust fumes coming through the air vents when moving. i have to keep the air circualting with in the cabin to stop it, but does any one know how to fix my problem?
Go to the Gates site and download the belt diagram for your vehicle. The diagram is 100% accurate. Just use the catalog to find their part number for the replacement belt and click on the picture icon (camera) on the right-side of the part number to get the diagram. Print it out to have it handy when refitting your accessory belt... Mercedes use timing chains for the valves, so don't worry about engine damage should a rubberized accessory belt break. Some Mercedes have two belts so replace both of them at the same time as a preventive measure. Starter, alternator and A/C compressor require accessory belt drive and occasionally water pumps.
