2001 ford escape interior instrument cluster and rear fuse keeps blowing. Have changed it three times in a week. Works for a bit then blows again.

There is an electrical fault that causes the fuse to blow. Maybe a wire has chafed against the metal body and vibrations causes it to short out the fuse. This requires checking the wiring from the instrument cluster to the fuse box for worn insulation etc.

I have a 2001 ford escape, when it is cold it does not want to idle right it chugs and wants to back fire through throttle body. when it is warm it runs good.I have replaced coil pack and spark plugs.

I would think it might be the coolant temp sensor as this increases the fuel for cold start. like a choke. it may also change the timeing of the engine cause it is read by the computer

If a cylinder shows low compression (90 when it should be around 150) does that mean the coil pack needs to be changed for those cylinders? Its for a 2001 ford escape...the spark plugs have already been...

1)You injectors could be clogged, and needs cleaning. Buy some fuel injector cleaner and see if you get compression back. 2) If not, have your car recently done any timming work to it?, if so, timing wasn't correctly set and top dead center isn't being fully achieved and needs to be set agian. 3) You car isn't getting the correct fuel to air ratio mixture and this is causing lost of compression, and needs to check your throttle intake or sensor. 4) Your piston cylinder suffer mechanical damage.
