BMW doesn't provide free downloads of its manuals, you must purchase them. You may find a used one on eBay in some cases, the factory new is very pricey.
You will rarely find any type of repair manual legally downloadable. Mostly due to copyright issues. The repair maual can be purchased online from a mirriad of websites including www.haynes.com and also at your local Autozone. They go for about $20 at present. I prefer Haynes manuals although Chilton's is also available. I find Chiltons to be far less complete.
IAC-(Idle Air Control) module has a valve that sometimes gets dirty and sticks. Taking it off and cleaning it works sometimes, otherwise replace.
Located around throttle body. Thumb through or purchase repair maual from auto store to locate precisely.
