Lock it up. open it with the FOB or the key at the drivers door. This should reset the security. If not, have the codes read to see what has died. Could be a sensor or a bad wire. Takes a scanner to get security codes. not a code reader.
remove the outer small bolts to remove balancer(pulley) the big centre bolt holds crankshaft gear for timming belt which slides off with timming belt removed.
It may be the synchro of the first gear. It may have been worn out. To check, you may try to put it in 2nd gear before putting it into first to be sure.
Loo between both light in the long **** shape gap just below where the bonnet is. If you look to the right, you should see a black cable hanging down. If not the it has snapped away, but if you can. Here is what you can to to open the bonnet. Use a long pair of plires and gab the cable. When you have a good grip, pull the cable firmly to the right (passenger side light). This should open the bonnet. It has worked for me....
i have a Daewoo Matiz 2000. It doesn't have Power Steering although other models of Matiz came with Power steering. I want to know if a Power steering can be installed on my Matiz. If so, whom can I contact.
