How to remove radio from 2008 acura tl with navagation

You need to get the serial number off the sticker attached to the radio. It will require pulling apart your dash. Call an Acura dealership with that serial number and they should be able to provide you the code. Or you can take it directly to the dealer but you will be charged labor.

Try this: If you have jumped or replaced the battery at anytime this will happen. You have to get the serial number off the radio by removing it or partially taking it out to see the numbers on it try not to remove any cords. Make sure while you have the stereo out you write the serial number down and keep it in a safe place also the number that the Acura dealership gives you because if you sell the car or if it happens again its easily accessible. You must contact the parts department of your local Acura dealer to get this code. You will need to show them your car's registration to prove that you are the owner. You may be able to get the code with only the registration and the VIN code (found on the registration). Some manufacturers require the serial number on the radio, which would require that the radio be removed from the car to see the serial number.

radio is locked out from installing incorrect code to many times need to disconnect battery for couple minutes then reconnect and install correct code

you need to get serial # ON RADIO and then call dealer they can look up code with correct serial #

First of all removing of radio will definitely give you alot more room. (rememeber you will nee radio code after you unplug radio) I would recommend that you disconnect battery before you EVER work on air bags. This module is pretty simple to remove but it is help by Special TORX screws. after removal of screw it its a yellow latch to pull across and unplug. Good luck thanks for using FIX YA

Your navigation code and radio codes writed on stikers on glovebox. Just open your glovebox and look on left side of gloivebox, not inside but outside. Open glovebox and look on left side. On my 2005 Acura RL NAV and Radio codes is different but it both on glove box. Sometime you even need to remove your glovebox cover to see those codes.

Take the disc out then have the car turned off for a half a hour.  Put disc back in and let it boot.
