Coming up with code P0302 I'm wondering if I should pay for a tune up and a fuel injection cleaning?
If there are no symptoms, the simplest thing to do is to reset the code and see if it comes back. If there are symptoms such as the engine is stumbling or hesitating, check all wiring and connectors that lead to the cylinders (i.e. spark plugs). Depending on how long the ignition components have been in the car, it may be a good idea to replace them as part of your regular maintenance schedule. I would suggest spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor (if applicable). Otherwise, check the coils (a.k.a. coil packs). In some cases, the catalytic converter has gone bad. If you smell rotten eggs in the exhaust, your cat converter needs to be replaced. I've also heard in other cases the problems were faulty fuel injectors.

P1495 Leak Detection Pump Solenoid Circuit Open Or Shorted
Code P1495 is for the LDP solenoid circuit. (LDP-Leak Detection Pump). This is a system that seals off the evaporative system of the car and then pressurizes it with the LDP. The computer looks to see how long it takes to pressurize the system, (depending on fuel level) and then determines if the system is leaking. Emissions regulations require this to cut down on fuel vapours from escaping to the atmosphere. You will likely have to get a dealer to diagnose this, unless you can find a shop that has a manual and DRB scan tool.

Hi! When replacing the plugs and wires on this model be sure there is no oil in spark plug wells. You will notice the oil on the plug wire boot when removing it. If there is any oil on any of the boots the valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals will need to be replaced or the misfire code you mentioned will return. Hope this information helps!

p0302 is number 2 cylinder misfire. you could have the code cleared and see if it returns. check the spark plugs. make sure they are ok. tan in color. not black or wet with fuel or oil. check the porcelain part (the white part) for black 'lines' on them. this indicates the porcelain is cracking and those are carbon tracks. if you see those replace plugs clear code. see if it return. if oil is present on plugs, that could also, cause misfire. if oil present, that indicates valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals leaking. replace gasket, check plugsand clear codes
