In drive, transmission will not shift out of low gear as speed increases?
2) even when trying manually it will not shift from 1st to 2nd or 2nd to drive.

If i had a sticky throtle valve in the transmission is there something i can flush through the trany to free it up and then change the filter and fluid? With out damageing anything else?
Sometimes when I slow or stop at a stop sign or light on a hill it won't shift into 1st or 2nd gear. I don't want to force it and jam something. Any advice?

the car just redlines in first gear it wont shift for 2nd to drive it acts like i only have first gear...when it started doing this it would shift if i didnt it manually but now it wont...could it be a speed sensor?
