I noticed today that the rear end of my 2002 Olds Bravada has sagged really really really low. I was just wondering if this could be caused by problems with the air suspension? I have noticed (since we bought it) that the compressor is quite loud but had no idea what that meant.
What has probably happened is you got a hole or cracks in your airbag. Dealerships and mechanics typically diagnoses it as the compressor but that is only to keep you coming back and wasting more money on something that will never truly be fixed. Both the airbag and the compressor are the problem. The compressor has to work extra hard because it is like blowing up a balloon with a hole in it. Therefor the airbag will kill the compressor. I would recommend going to strutmasters.com and taking a look at the conversion kits. these convert you from the airbag to a powder coated American made steel coil spring that is guaranteed to last the life of the car. This is a PERMANENT fix. I added the link below so you can check it out. http://www.strutmasters.com/oldsmobile-suspension-parts-s/85.htm I hope I was of some help Good Luck!!!

I had the same problem with our 02 bravada, there are air bags underneath that have to be replaced.
i bought two of them from the dealer at 205.00 a piece (expensive) i replaced them myself and saved
a lot of money. it's not that hard to do, the 2002 bravada was a project car that GM engineers tried to
put together but it failed in many areas so a year or two later, they changed a lot of the designs. it's
no wonder they can't sell their vehicles and i've been a GM man all my life. but anyways, if you can
look underneath the car you'll probably see the air bags are cracked from the weather. i've got quite a
bit of answers for this vehicle as i am always replacing something on it. hope this helps.

Yes, definately could. Did you say compressor runs a lot & is noisy? If so, possible leak in line, but have it checked and repaired.
