The rear wash wipe motor can be heard, however not the front, but there's plenty of water there.

I blieve it's the same pump taht runs the rear and front washers.

The windshield washer comprises the following parts:

  • Windshield washer reservoir, below the front left-hand fender
  • Washer pump, on the outside of the washer reservoir
  • Two washer nozzles on the hood/bonnet, adjustable.

Windscreen washer on Ford Focus comes out rear instead of front most of the time.

Looks like a Body Control Module communication issue.

Windshield Washer
When the washer switch is pulled towards the driver, the SASM sends the washer request to the BCM over the LIN. The BCM activates the windshield wash relay (internal to the BCM) and sends a message to the driver side windshield wiper motor. When the BCM activates the windshield wash relay, voltage is provided to the washer pump, directing washer fluid to the windshield. When the switch is released, the windshield wiper motor continues to activate the windshield wipers for 3 additional wipes and then turns the windshield wipers off.

Screen wash motor can be heard and at first front sreen washes ok but not back for some weeks. Now no water coming out either at front or back.

Hi
This can happen due to 2 reasons
1.There is a block in the inlet pipe located inside the water reservoir. In this case disconnect the wires and the tubing and give it a good wash with a hose. Check the pipes by blowing hard. If water/air is coming out the nozzle then the tubs are fine.
2.If the motor pump is not working or is under performing the same problem occurs. In this case you have to replace the motor.
Regards.

On a 2.0 dohc motor it's on the front of block near the water outlet. Check the hose that goes to the intake manifold for leaks and collapsing while running that connects to the pcv

Cant get water through to the back windscreen wiper

Check for a broken wiper washer fluid hose leading to the rear nozzle.

Check that the wiper washer water pump works.

Check to make sure the switch is sending current to the washer pump motor.

Check that the rear nozzle is not clogged.

Peugeot 407 SW 2006 wash wipe, no water coming from front.

The pipe that caries the water come off the connector under the wheel arch, you have to take the wheel off on the side of the water reservoir and the protective lining. Apply a bit of super glue to it, it's not very difficult to do.

Wipers front and rear not working and screen wash

Hi

Sounds like an earthing problem if you have already checked the relay and fuses. although if they are both controlled by the same stick on the steering wheel it may be lose or have packed up completely. Like you say its strange both are not working.

Start at the route of the wiring to the wipers and trace it all the way until you find the fault if its not the stalk!

hope this helps
