Running lights are some luxury car configuration, that is, as long as the little lamp will light up after ignition, of course there are also many enthusiasts DIY up myself! As the latest version of the audi A6L HouWeiDeng around and under the left and right headlights of bottom, each have a LED light bar, this thing just after ignition, whether it's day or night are lit, and its role in addition to a little beautiful, is in order to better prompt pedestrians and other vehicles. Not much really mean! A small lamp, is moving at night time should be flashing lights, which is dipped headlight. Passing each other in case of special circumstances, such as,, steep slope, intersection, narrow bridge need to flash the high beam headlight - that is, you said. Traffic lights, zebra crossing, at night is to transform and light, prompt pedestrians, your car in the past! Generally only open during normal driving dipped headlight, don't drive high beam and high beam is too dazzling, easy to let the other vehicle's driver blinding.

1978 Jeep CJ5. When brakes are applied interior, side marker, and park/running lights all come on. Where is the problem?

There is a short or badly installed light bulb in the rear brake light housing. Those bulbs use both running lights and brake light filaments and if a filament shorts to the other filament or they are installed wrong, pressing the brake pedal energizes the brake light and inturn the running lights.

Runnigg/dash lights fuse blowing

Sounds like you have a short. You will need to get yourself a tester light specifically for shorts. Inatall that in place of the fuse and activate your dash/running lights and see if the tester light up if it does then a short is present. At that point you need a wiring diagram of said circuit and try and locate where the short is. If your not expierienced at this i advise seeing a reputable garage.

Short in horn and park lights kills batt i traced and checked horn switch and light switch

By tracing the horn and light switch, did you find the short? If the horn is shorted, then it should only run the battery down if the horn switch is made. Or the horn is pressed. So I would suggest the light switch is going to be where the problem is.

Interior lights run battery down when car is turned off.

Are you saying the interior lights don't shut off after the door is closed, or that the interior lights, when they're on for a short time, run the battery down?
If the lights stay on when they should shut off, there could be a bad door switch that's not registering that the door is closed.
If the lights being on for a short time when the car isn't running is running the battery down, your battery may be getting close to the end of it's lifespan & need changed.

2000 gmc sierra dash lights and running lights remain on after

It seems you have a sort circuit in the wiring or the switch......

normally you have 2 types of shorts, 1 is to earth and this causes the fuse to blow, indicating a fault and preventing a fire.

The second one is a short to power, where the circuit remains on, despite the switch being turned off.

I would suggest that the park light switch is shorting out.

If you are not familiar with electronics, I would prefer you seek an auto electrician to do the job.
