If I had to guess failing fuel pump, they tend not to build fuel pressure when ran a while(warmed up) and when left to cool build somewhat better pressure.

There are 4 motor mounts on a Neon. You need a jack to support the bottom of the motor with a block of wood on it. 2 are easily replaceable, but there is one that goes to the middle of the front of the engine that is tricky, plus the transmission mount is accessed after removing several components, like the battery and tray. It may be better to have a professional take care of those "tricky" mounts.
