Does anyone know how to change seals on rear diff on 2003 frod expedition

If you need to change the axle seals here is the process. You need to remove the rear wheels. Remove the brake drums if so equipped. Remove the rear cover on the differential. Turn the differential until you find the bolt that holds the cross shaft in place. Remove the bolt and pull the cross shaft out. Then you will see the axle ends. Push the axle in towards the center of the axle. You will need to remove a C clip retainer from the axle end. You can then remove the axle and gain access to the seal. Repeat the process on the opposite side. Then reverse the disassembly process. Place the cover back onto the differential housing and refill the differential. Good luck.
