Breaks pulsing My breaks pulse when I stop. They fell like they might not stop the car. If I pulse the peddle it helps. Almost like the engine needs more time to wind down so the car doesnt jump forward after stopping. I do have abs and know that pulsing the breaks is wrong, but its the only way to eliminate the shaky stop. I have new pads and the rotters are not warped and were turned 6 months ago. What could be the problem?
no the light does not come on. Im assuming it was turned to specs I took them to a local break shop. Im leaning twords bad rotters it really seams from what I read that this problem isnt related to abs. Ive heard that ceramic pads are not the best and maybe I should try slotted rotters?

Does the abs light come on when pulsating? if yes then maybe you have a bad ABS sensor or it just the sensors cleaned . Where they turned under spec .which means more likely to heat up and warp or crack
see i never turn rotors anymore so cheap to replace and with new rotors that give you that extra thickness that reduces the amount of pad wear and better stopping .see i never turn rotors anymore so cheap to replace and with new rotors that give you that extra thickness that reduces the amount of pad wear and better stopping .

If you have spark, the computer is getting the signal to pulse the injectors. If you have power but no ground pulse, you may have fried the driver in the computer again. You could get a used computer from a junk yard to test it. There could be a short in one of the injectors or the harness at the computer, or a break in the circuit from the computer, and that could kill the driver in the computer.
hi! Washing the engine is always a big mistake because the water gets the sensors and all the electronics that shouldn't be get wet. all I can say is try to dry the engine with Air. Good luck
P0722 - Transmission Pulse Generator B. The Pulse Generator detects the revolution of the idler gear parking

Symptoms: - Engine Light On (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Speedometer improper reading
- Possible shifting problems
Possible Causes: - Pulse Generator B harness or connectors
- Pulse Generator B circuit is open or shorted

its a low speed abs activation the problem is in the front sensors they need to be cleaned or replaced they [or one] probably has some corrosion on the sensor --[the 99 chevy tahoes had a limited recall over this issue and the fix was to remove and clean the abs sensor or if to corroded replace ] this problem doesnt set off an abs code or trouble light also sometimes the abs will activate by itself at under 4 mph without even touching brake
if your peddle is pulsing change the rotors they got to hot and warped do not get dealer rotors buy one after market with holes in them they cool better
yes the rotors may only be 6 mo old, but it does not mean they didn't become warped in this little bit of time! try to think back if u had to slam on the brakes at some time to avoid some thing and hitting a big puddle of water and then hitting the brakes hard can warp them easily, i bet if u have them checked u will find they have become warped! ( could also be the quality of parts, it does happen) good luck to u,hope we helped.
drive the car apply slowly the emergency brake you gonna brake with the rear only if you fell the pulse its our rear drum that warp be carefull when applying the emergency try to hold the release handle at the same time if no pulse change our front rotor there nothing else that can pulse when you brake hope it help fixya our post thanks pierre
