there is a special tool for this job but I have cheated on this but you ned to be careful when doing this. The wishbone shaped mount on the front going from motor to front of vehicle, remove and it allows the motor to tilt.

SOURCE: how do you change the spark plugs in my 95 buick century ?

This is a very simple fix. My 1995 (6 cylinder) Buick plugs were really corroded and my engine was misfiring. I troubleshot this issue back to the plugs and replace all of them. I went to AutoZone and they said not to get the high firing plugs, they told me that the ACDelco (cheap) plugs were the best for this issue.
But as far as the changing goes. There are three plugs on the front of the block and three plugs on the rear of the block closest to the firewall. The front three are very simple to replace. While the back three are a little tricky, because they are screwed into the block at different angles. I would recommend getting a hose that can slip securely over the end of the spark plug (where the spark plug wires attach) and using this as an extension when screwing your new plugs into the block. This makes it a hell of a lot easier than trying to start the plugs with a ratchet extension or your hands, especially when trying to get the ones on the back side of the block started!!

Good Luck!!

2004 Buick Rendezvous. My code reader is telling me I have a cylinder 2 misfire.

You might want to try and take the number 2 cylinder spark plug out and look at it it should be a Gray or very light Brown color.
It's also possible that there's number 2 spark plug had water splashed on it and it was very hot and could have cracked the porcelain on the spark plug. Does your Buick have over a 100000 miles on it or near a 100000 miles if so they may be original spark plugs and need to be changed you can try one Thing, try changing number 2 spark plug with number one or number 3 and see if the problem moves with the spark plug, if it does the spark plug is definitely bad if it doesn't you may have to start looking at the spark plug Wires or maybe even the fuel injector but, you can do the same thing with the fuel injector change it with number 1 and see if the problem moves. Shield injectors usually just pull out of the fuel rail but be careful there's an O ring on them don't lose it it should stay on but you never know.
Anyway good luck to you

How are the cylinders numbered on a 3.6 v-6 buick lesaber custom, 1989. I was changing the spark plug wires and I might have mixed a couple of them up. I was looking for a diagram for the proper wiring for...

there should be a decal on the upper rad support that shows the ignition coils with the numbers on them.the cylinders are numbered on the front of the motor nearest rad from the pulley end of the motor cyl1-3-6 and at the rear of the motor nearest the firewall cyl 2-4-6.

1994 buick lesaber car runs till it gets hot then it stalls and wont start till it cools down any ideas whould be helpful thank you

I don't know this car but if I was you I would start with the ignition system. First getting extra spark plug or tests light. When the car is running good, pull the coil or spark plug wire off and test for spark. By puting the sparkplug or tests light in the sparkplug lead. Then when the problem happens tested again to see if you have sparked. also pouring a little fuel down the intake system. If the car starts you have a fuel problem. If it does not start, you may have a bad ignition module are or coil. Good luck.
