There is a noise coming from the front left wheel when the vehicle is in motion. It seems to speed up & slow down with the speed the vehicle is traveling. I can't tell what it is. If it's not brakes or a...

Another problem is the CV universal joint going to the wheel. this is inside a rubber boot to protect the constant velocity universal joint and maybe the boot has been damaged and allowed water/dirt inside. Find a large open parking lot and make a tight figure eight with the steering wheel all the way over and listen to see if the noise is louder. locking the steering wheel hard over turning left and then hard over turning right and if the noise is louder then your CV joint is bad. A squealing scraping noise could be worn out brake pads allowing the small L shaped metal tab to rub on the brake rotor causing the noise too. Look at the pad, the should be very thick riding against the brake rotor. You should be able to see the L bracket and if it is against the brake rotor, new brake pads are needed. A grinding kind of noise that changes its sound when you make small turns like avoiding pot holes could be coming from a bad wheel bearing. Jack that wheel off the ground and then grab the top and bottom of the tire and see if it wiggles on the axel. There should be no play at all if the wheel bearing is good. Regards, Dennis

WHY AM I getting vibration at low speeds as i accelerate on my renault megane scenic 2007 1.9cc

Hello friend. Some possible causes ? 1) Wheel not balanced / wheel weight lnocked off. 2) Steering joints worn badly. 3) Brake disc(s) distorted through overheating. 4) Constant Velocity Joint (CV Joint) worn out.
You need to try and locate from WHERE the vibration is coming from, difficult I know while car is moving but it will help to narrow down (front, rear,. left , right ? ) what is wrong. Could save you lots of cash at the Workshop.

STEARING SEAMS TO BE STIFFER AND SHAKING COMING THROUGH THE STEARING WHEEL AND WHEN YOU APLAY THE BREAKS YOU CAN FEEL BUMPING THROUGH THE BREAK PEDAL AND ALSO FLIKEREING ON THE SPEEDO

you may have bad CV joints. Each halfshaft has an inner and outer cv joint. One halfshaft going to each front wheel. Check to see if the rubber boots are split and all the grease leaked out.

My honda accord 1992 trasmission makes a bumpreaction when shifting from park to drive

With the hood open:

Put the car in park take off the emergency brake and push the car forward and back looking for a difference in movement of the CV joints where the Axle mates to the CV. I.e.... CV joint travels a short distance before you see any axle movement. Worn CV joint knuckles will cause all kinds of clunking.

If there is no movement between the CV joint and axle when you push the car fwd or back you already know the problem is internal to the transmission.
