Check out the starter for loose connections or bolts. Remove the starter have it bench tested. Also remove battery have checked, may be a dead cell in battery.

SOURCE: I changed the egnition switch

This is a VERY common problem in GM vehicles. There is an anti theft security system installed in your car. When there is a communication break in this system, the computer switches off the starter thinking that somebody is trying to steal the car. Is there a light that says SECURITY on the dash when you turn the key forward 2 clicks? If you see this light at all, this is most likely your problem. Check out this link for a full description, and some DO IT YOURSELF options to fix this problem forever. http://vatspasslockpasskeysecurityhelp.yolasite.com/

I cant start my 2006 charger, even though the lights, radio come on

Do you hear a clicking sound but nothing else?
If so, it sounds like your battery is dying, enough juice to power your small things...eg radio, lights but not enough juice to turn your engine over

Hope this helps

Car wont start

Incorrect, it's probably the battery. It has enough juice for the lights, but it needs lots of juice to start the engine. Get the battery checked at your local auto parts store, they do it for free.

Won't start

I would try the battery, it sounds like it has enough juice to power the lights, but not everything else. You can take the battery to a local parts store and they can test it at no charge.

The car will not start

replace your battery. Even when a battery is dead it will still have enough juice to operate smal things like the horn and radio, but not enough juice to start the car. If the battery is dead you should still be able to jump start it and take it to autozone and they can check it along with the alternator at the same time.
