How do i disarm my allarm on my 199volkwagon passat

You should be able to use your key cylinder at your driver door to disarm the factory alarm by turning it to unlock 2 times with the key

I would say that the problem is the remote. change the batteries in the remote and see if it will work then. if it still will not disarm the car then it could be a problem with the security system itself.
new batteries can be bought at your local RadioShack*,auto parts store,or a auto security intallation shop.

Did you mean indicators relay? If so you have to remove the steering wheel because the relay is behing.First - disarm SRS/airbags/ by disconecting battery earth/negative/.After 10 minutes you can remove drivers airbag,useing 5mm Allan key/hexagone/.Then remove steering wheel.After that is easy.Pse DO NOT TURN spiral cable .

should be a small switch under the hood by engine or under the dash small metalic switch or u can find the fuse or the wire that feeds the alarm from battery

u will need to go to the dealer and have a scan tool hooked up to test what the problem is.
