Light on dashboard with circle with explation point in center what does it mean

Torch as in lamp? Is it a circle with radial lines around the edge and an exclamation point in the center? This indicates a headlamp is out.

I think you mean the yellow circle with the triangle and the exclaimstion point? ... That would be a service light. If it says ABS in the center (orange warning light ln the right, not left) then your brake system needs inspected or serviced.

Its the ESP Light - Electronic Stability System.

A sign like this indicates that your parking brake pads(shoes) are worn, and are in need of replacement.

A sign like this indicates that there is problem with the ABS system (can be anythig from a faulty wheel speed sensor to a burnt out fuse)
A non functioning ABS could bring the tires to a lock up during extreme braking which could be rather dangerous.
