Had intake manifold replaced and now check engine light flashing and hesitation in accelerating.
You don't want to use a car with a flashing check light
On a Ford, that is a Class A Cylinder Misfire
The problem was put in there, I assume, from work
that wasn't checked before returning your car
Could have vacuum leaks with the new manifold
Should have smoke tested after the install, road tested,
looked at all data,mode #06 misfire counts,etc
SOURCE: 97 Expedition, 5.4L hesitated during acceleration
go to a parts store and they will let you use their scanner for free. sounds like a cylinder misfiring. The scanner will tell you which one it is.

need to check fuel trims thats where i always start
