You have a STRONG Voltage Draw on the Electrical System and it is not being able to provide the entire car with Power. Test your Alternator, you may find out that the Voltage Regulator inside is starting to fail.....

Does your Radio seem to not play as loud?
Is the Power Needle going down when it happens?

I don't think this is the problem. When I bought the truck (used) it was doing the same thing and I had them fix it before I bought it. I did not ask what they did, but I don't think they replaced the alternator.

Could it be a vaccum leak? The a/c works fine when you are not accelerating.

2001 Lincoln Navigator, the heat blower stops working when accelerating!

Question edited for clarity.

That is a pretty funky fault. At first thought, it might be a bad connection due to G-Force and inertia, but where?? Then again, the Climate Control is operated by the Body Control Module and various sensors attached to it. You need the dealership or a good auto-electrician with a professional grade scan tool computer. They can do Live Data, Freeze Frame whilst that oddness is happening and tell you the reason why?

When I accelerate the fan quits blowing on my 96 dodge truck.

Are you sure its not a vac leak ?
The blower may be running, but if you loose vac when you open the throttle you may loose the ability to blow air out the vents.
There should be a storage tank to keep vac in the heater control system when engine vac drops.

AC/Heater blower fan stops blowing air into the cabin when I accelerate.

Usually a vac leak. I would check for a leak in the HVAC control system and the line thru the firewall to the engine.

The a/c on my 2010 Mercury Milan quits blowing after about 2 hours of driving. Any ideas?

Sounds to me like the A/C clutch is no good and out of adjustment. You should goto your nerrest junkyard and get a used assembly take the clutch off then you learn how it comes off and install it on yours the save the pump for later use if needed. The clutch should only have a .010 air gap after install between th inner elctro magnet and the clutch plate it's self.

Heater fan runs for a short time and then sounds like someone holding playing cards in a bicycle tire. Then it quits for a while. I turn it off and ten minutes later it will blow for a while and then quit...

Your blower fan is most likely failing. It sounds like it is rubbing on the cage, which causes the motor to heat up and quit functioning. Once the motor cools down it will operate again. You will need to replace the blower motor and fan assembly.

2001 BMW 330ci Blower Fan quit working

sounds like the resister for the fan is failing. it is located under the dash on the duct work for the blower (fan). you will see two wires going to it. unscrew the bolts or screws that hold it in and replace it with a new one. it should work fine after that.

Heater fan blowing intermittently or not at all

Most likely it does, if you can hit the motor and it will run. I can't say for sure but you might want to chk. to see if you got a heater blower motor resister. There located (if its got one) around the heater motor and it controls blower speeds, might be worth checking out.

AC/fan suddenly stops and dinging gas gauge

My fan stopped blowing too!! I was worried that my compressor had went out. The mechanic said that the blower had burned out and he charged me 169.00 for the part and 50.00 for labor.

I have a 2004 Pacifica with 58K miles.
