ABS, ASC, Handbrake, Airbag lights lit on dash, speedometer now working and fuel gauge playing silly beggars too

I am just wondering if anyone can shed some light on my situation. My car is displaying ABS, ASC, handbrake and airbag lights on dash all the time, also, the speedometer wont work and the fuel gauge is playing silly beggars so am not sure how much fuel is in the tank. Any ideas? Is my car still safe to drive ?? Thanks !

The abs,Asc,Handbrake all this is related to most likely a sensor that has gone out is not functioning properly. I would not drive this myself, especially with the air bag light on as if computer is throwing these signals out, you do not want to take the chance of air bag accidentally going off. Most this I am sure can be fixed at dealer. They will hook up there fancy equipment diagnostic machine, and reset the computer. Worst case is there might be a sensor that has to be replaced. This could be also a short in wire harness. Bottom line take it in and have them hook up to machine. This will pin point problem, because next step would be car could automatically shut down.

I just replaced the ECU, but my airbag, abs, and brake light won't clear on my dash. Did you hook up a professional or factory scan tool an check for codes in all the modules on the vehicle ?

2005. Why have gauges ceased to function?

Gauges have their own fuse. Under dash fuse panel. If it keeps blowing, you have a short to the power wire.

if the battery is reading 12.75v while running your alternator is bad
if its reading 14.50 its charing
if it is charging sounds like you have a bad ground to the engine wiring harnes

ABS, Tire Pressure and Airbag Light Fault on '05 MINI Cooper

The computer you are looking for is called an ASC control unit and is located in the right hand side of the engine bay.
I advise you have the fault codes checked first as a new ASC control unit is not cheep and will require coding.

2007 dodge 3500, 5.9 cummins,engine light on, fault code p2146, running rough

It's a code that signify's you have a voltage circuit problem with one or more fuel injectors. When a problem is found with the fuel injector circuit it affects fuel delivery on all the injectors and that is why it is running rough.

Good Luck

2001 venture, the security light came on today then so did the ABS light, the airbag light, the brake light and then the fuel, speedometer, and heat gauges began freaking out now the car wont start at all

I had the very same problem with my venture, same year! My problem was the aux wire running from the positive battery terminal had some how fallen out of the bracket (little plastic holder), was rubbing against one of the belt pulleys, and grounding out. It caused my dash to go crazy! I actually took it to auto zone and they found the cable. I replaced it and never had the problem again. One Note however, the only thing it screw up that had to be replaced was the Fuel Gauge Relay which was in the gas tank. It some how screwed this sensor up and my gas gauge was still going wild. 300 bucks to have the tanks dropped emptied and the sensor replaced. Hope this helps.
