SOURCE: power steering fluid on grand prix

You should add it to the power steering pump reservoir, which if you have the 3800 series II its behind the engine on the passenger side.

SOURCE: srs airbag light is on on my 99 pontiac grand prix

If the seat belt light comes on intermittently with the belt buckled, it may have a bad switch in the buckle or a loose connection @ the switch. This may also set a diagnostic trouble code in the srs control module & keep the srs airbag light on.

SOURCE: car shuts off while driving wont start up

You need to replace your crankshaft position sensor located by the harmonic balacer. These sensors heat up and cut off the engine until the sensor cools down. This happens with age and it is not specific to GM.

SOURCE: 99 Grand Prix idles funny, dies got code p0102,

this vehicle most likely has a mass air flow sensor it may have got accidently unplugged or the air tube from mass airflow to engine is not connected well or it could be that you have indeed a bad mass air flow sensor they do make a special cleaner that you may want to try before purchasing a mass air flow sensor or purchasing one from salvage yard the symptoms you describe would be created by a bad massair flowsensor

I have a 99 Pontiac Grand Prix GT and it won't start. i have determined that its not getting fuel. I replaced the blown fuel pump fuse, but I'm still not getting fuel. There is a fuel pump relay also,...

The no fuel problem is usually caused by a defective or bad fuel pump. The blown fuel pump fuse is actually pointing to the pump or circuit being bad.

Need to drop the tank, so let someone who has done it before do it, it's worth it.

Gasoline is kind of dangerous to deal with since it is extremely flammable and volatile.

What years 3.1 engine will fit in 1998 pontiac grand prix

Unfortunately it's a (relatively) one year only engine (without major component changes). However, these will fit without those changes:

'97, '98, '99 Buick Century,

'98, '99 Lumina (car),

'98, '99 Grand Prix,

'99, Monte Carlo.

This is assuming that you have an (8th digit) "M" VIN. Off the top of my head.

99 Pontiac Grand Prix. When car slows down or

There are SO many things that could be to blame, such as a relay sticking in the Engine Management System, which controls fuel cut-off on deceleration, for example.

Have you changed the fuel filter yet?
If it's the original on a 99 model and a previous owner has run the tank dry, it will have sucked dirt into the filter.

Otherwise, the fuel pump may not be working efficiently.
Does the engine sound ok and maintain steady revs, around 850/900rpm when it's started up?
