Losts of engines, by suzuki,
you are not , located in N. America, and car options vary by market.
the early gen used the F6a, in 97 they went to K10A and some have a 1.2L.
before diagnosing any car engine, one must know which one he has.
and yes, the crank sensors move about each. Suzuki sells the FSM for your car. and has all this tech data.
off the wiki, read this. (1998.5 cars, so .... even more complex)
"1998 saw the introduction of the second-generation Wagon R in Japan,
with the redesign of the Wagon R+ and replacing it in 1999 - this was
brought to Europe in 2000, with larger engines. This is also produced in
Esztergom in Hungary and Gurgaon, India. The Opel Agila is a badge engineered version of the Suzuki Wagon R+, also introduced in summer 2000."
hi the engine acording to the book is a k12 a
the fire wall vin tag, shows,eg. HRG37FB24... 37 is engine code and 24 is Australia. not stating both numbers makes help impossible but the SR210 car, has only a distributor and no crank sensor. answer the tag number question and can post exact answers. why are you looking for a non existant sensor, other engine codes are 38,46,47,48, what is yours.?
why not post symptoms, and btw the ECU does monitor both CKP/CMP at all times, and reports these bad, with a DTC code, even if 1 hit of 8 is bad, got DTC'S? post the symptoms. Is the check engine lamp on, is the car stalled? what/?
dont you love all the spam here, even posting for wrong car and engine.!
in a shop the mech, knows what country he is in, and what car it was made for. we cant do tha there, unless you tell that first. see? we are 100% blind and car diagnosis is complex, so what country and what does that fire wall vin test say? what?
Vin tag, here is one , here.....row 6 here......http://www.fixkick.com/specs/Body-TAGS/i...

SOURCE: Where is the crankshaft position
Hello Aldozer.
It is mounted below the power steering pump and behind the AC compressor(if equipped).
Both will need to be removed to access it.
Here is a pic of the engine after they are removed.
I hope this helps you towards a good repair.
Thank you for using FixYa.

the O2 sensor is located just before your catalytic converter. The MAF sensor is located on your air intake pipe just after the filter
SOURCE: where location crank sensor suzuki esteem 2000
On the Esteem 1.6L: the Crankshaft Position Sensor is located on the right side (passenger side) of the engine Oil Pan.
For the Esteem 2.0L: the CKP is located behind the engine Flywheel in the back of the engine block. It is necessary to remove the transmission to service the sensor.
