The control modaule and crank sencer has been replaced and their is no spark at the plug on a 1986 buick grandnational

In the circuit between the crank position sensor and the coil packs, is the ignition control module. It not only amplifies the crank position signal, but also does things like set the ignition advance curve as rpm goes up. It is expensive, but could be bad. First check to see it it is getting power, and it is not a fuse or a relay before trying that unit.

What kind of car???? if its a gm hop on this site and read it over... there is a common issue where the security fails on the car and I wont start.. it happened to my buick.did some research and now my car runs fine!

coil? coils give spark to spark plugs.

If the starter cranks very fast when you are trying to start to check for spark, it is a possiblity that you have a busted timing chain. This explains the rapid sound of you starter engaging, because the crankshaft is not being turned and the camshft is not either therefore no spark is made.

change plug wires have injectors tested fuel filter

it is most likely your crank sensor, it sends signals to engine module to give spark, make sure security system light is not on, the crank sensor sits on the main crank pulley, you may have to remove pulley to replace it, google instructions...

do you get fuel pump pressure, should be about 40 psi what about compression and spark on a saturn would be stronger due to many reasons one of which being different voltage of coils

First check the cam sensor too

no the crank shaft sensor would not stop it from turning over
