Check the trailer plug ground first. If in doubt. Ground in another location. Make sure the area is free of rust and the ground is tight.

If your only going with a flat 4 connector, you will have a connection behind rear bumper area that you can buy an adapter to put between the connectors & flat 4 will connect from there, otherwise you can splice into your light harness in back of cargo area, behind panel in the corner. That's all provided your only going with a flat 4. If you need more info, just let me know.

there is a plug at the back of the radio connecting it to the vehicle wiring loom. If you can get at thes plug, either from below or by removing the radio unit, make sure the plug is tight and secure. I can't think that the amp has gone or you would have lost all sound, so this is more than likely the problem.

I'am going to go out on a limb hear and assume that you need this due to the fact your tail lights quit working. This is a very common problem, and the circut board in the tail lamp seems to be the main problem in these. Most parts stores carry these at all times. If you need for other than this problem- please clarify
