Where is the fuel pressure regulator on a 2003 oldsmobile alero?

I can't find the fuel pressure regulator on my 2003 Oldsmobile alero.

I have checked both fuel lines that lead to the fuel bar and I see nothing like the regulator that I received from napa auto parts. A week ago I replaced my fuel pump and the fuel pump is working correctly, it is pushing out a three foot stream up on the fuel line when I take out the valve steam. There is nothing resembling the regulator I bought on either end of the engine. Exactly where is the location of the fuel pressure regulator on my car? Thanks for the help.

There are 2 fuel lines connecting to the fuel injector rail. The larger line is the pressure line and the smaller line is the return line. The smaller line attaches to the fuel pressure regulator. You will notice that the regulator also has a vacuum line attached to it. If you are planning on changing it your self, let me know. There is a specific way to change it for safety reasons.
Let me know.
Regards,

Below is a picture of the 4 and 6 cylinder fuel rails with regulators, not sure which engine you have. Each regulator is at the end of the fuel rail.

Hope this helps, let me know.

Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pressure Relief .
Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line.
Remove the fuel pressure regulator attaching screw.
Using a shop towel to catch any spilled fuel, lift and twist the fuel pressure regulator in order to remove the fuel pressure regulator from the fuel rail.
Remove the retainer and spacer bracket from the rail and discard.
Remove the fuel pressure regulator from the engine fuel return pipe.
Remove the fuel pressure regulator inlet O-ring and the fuel return pipe O-ring and discard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmIWBlc4...

2003 Oldsmobile Alero starts and then dies. I've put new crankshaft sensor in it and fuel filter. Battery is good and the fuel pump is working. The security light isn't on, what else could it be?

Question edited for clarity and typos.
Question moved to model category.

It is a known issue. Fuel pumps can work, but not provide enough pressure, so you need to test with a pressure gauge. There is also a Pressure Regulator. Have a read of this.

I replaced the fuel pump in my 1999 Oldsmobile alero in may of 2012 when I start my car I get a big smell of gas just like I did when it went out before could it be going bad already

I'd use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check for external gas leak, at the fuel pump--fuel lines--fuel injector/s--fuel pressure regulator, and check evap system.

What does the fuel pressure gauge for 2002 olds alero look like

Do you mean the Fuel Pressure Regulator?
Otherwise a fuel pressure guage looks like a large dial indicator on one end and a rubber hose on the other.

When driving my alero oldsmobile it wants to cut back like its misfireing what is the cause of that?

Could be your fuel filter being clogged up. Get a new fuel filter. If that doesn't work then just do a normal tune- up and have your fuel pressure tested. Hope this helps, James Booth

How to replace fuel pressure regulator 2000 Olds. Alero V-6

relieve fuel system pressure. on the v6, detach the fuel return line from the fuel pressure regulator. remove the mounting fasteners, and detach fuel regulator from rail. on the v6 install the fuel return line before tightening the regulator mounting screws. otherwise a leak could develop. be sure to replace all O-ring seals, and coat them with a lite coat of oil. have a good one !!
