Ive got a 92 Ford Ranger 2.3L 2wd that wont start. when you put the clutch in and turn the key it just clicks. so i went out and replaced the battery cables, battery, soleniod relay (on fire wall) ,and starter, but my truck still wont start just clicks like it did before. i just dont get it. Any ideas or clues. THANKS; HANK
Yes. Ive tryed battery relays now what
After 2 weeks of searching and testing and fault elimination as I could not start my Ranger, I found that it was the bonnet release module that had gone faulty. I could turn the engine, but the glow lamp in the dash would turn of immediately when turning the key and the engine would not start. I took the unit out and turned it upside down it now starts first time.
Either a bad body ground,or your tranny is locked up,did it run good before you shut it off?

every now and then. Sometimes you had to do that little gas trick where you spray it into your intake then it would fire up everytime.
