It could be a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump. Also try replacing the spark plugs and spark plug wires and having the timing checked. Good luck.

sounds like you may have a bad engine temp sensor. Do you have any engine codes or check engine light on? If you do, I would have the codes read. It will tell you the problem.
check the battery an make sure its holding a charge and test the alternator and checkout the starter to make sure its good and not drawing on the battery
Older vans required you to cut the front core support and slide it out from the front end. the cross member and front end of that van should unbolt though and allow you to slide it out through the the center if the front end it disassembled. hope this helps!
